As I suspect is the case with many people, this module was my first introduction to D&D way back in the forever ago. I absolutely loved everything about it except this room. What possible reason under the stars could my (or any!) characters have for randomly drinking out of some mangy pool in the dark recesses of a creepy wizard's lair? I immediately assumed they were full of lizard-man pee and steered well clear.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure what module this is, B1? My set came with B2. And for me B2 is D&D.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about mangy but hell yes I'm drinking from wizard's pools. Wizards have power, they get it from somewhere, probably this pool, pass the ladle! (I played more than a few low int/wis characters...)
