I'm not a fan of the D&D cartoon, but this is frickin' hilarious! Thanx for posting!
Personally, I think this 'adventure' would've 'run' more smoothly under Labyrinth Lord/Moldvay/Cook/Marsh B/X. Or, perversely, Tunnels & Trolls 5.5. :-)

4E rolling, actually. Though 3.X can get quite ridiculous in its own right when it comes to throwing the bones. Interestingly, the cartoon has been officially statted out for 3.X. The Complete D&D Cartoon Series 'box set'(which looks a bit like the Mentzer edition) comes with a 3.5 adventure that includes writeups for the main cast.
Man, all that 3e rolling really slows them down. Rolling just to look at those floating rocks? Come on.
